DIGGING IN THE CLAY

[A big, giant crowd o' people] Central New York is recognized nationally for its interest and committment to ceramic art. "Feats of Clay" was conceived in 1987 to spotlight the varied and creative ceramics art education programs in our high schools throughout Onondaga County and Central New York which enrich this tradition.

Since our first "Feats of Clay" in 1988 over 2500 students have participated in what has become "THE" clay event -- the "Feats of Clay Olympics", and the "Feats of Clay Exhibition".

The continued success of "Feats of Clay" rests with the talented and dedicated high school art teachers, art students, Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University ceramics professors, their students, and the individuals who understand the need to make clay vessels.

[The Feats Banner of Awesome] Our really snazzy banner featuring Pyrometric Cones.
