The CollegeBoard Online: www.collegeboard.com -- This site is excellent for students, parents, educators, and counselors. Included is the latest news from the College Board, current test administrations and registration deadlines, as well as on-line score reporting, registration, and details regarding specific SAT I/IIs. Check out the SAT Question of the Day, utilize the scholarship search as well as the ExPAN College Search, or e-mail the professionals at the College Board. Information is organized and presented specifically for Student & Parents, Admissions Staff, Financial Aid Staff, Counselors, High School & College Faculty, and College Board Members.
Peterson's Education and Career Center: www.petersons.com -- At this site, access Colleges and Universities, Graduate Programs, Studying Abroad Programs, Careers & Education, Summer Programs, Private Schools, Financing Education, Executive Education, Distance Learning, Learning Adventures, Open Choices, Testing Preparation, etc. Peterson's is an information services company that is the "leading provider" of information on educational institutions and other educational opportunities in the United States.

Campus Tours: www.campustours.com/ -- Visit this highly interactive site for virtual tours of college and university campuses. Locate campuses by map or alphabetical listing and experience a look at each via webcams, movies and pictures, college videos, and campus maps. This site is user-friendly as a good introduction to a number of campuses.
CollegeView: www.collegeview.com/ -- CollegeView is a terrific resource that allows students, parents, counselors and other educators to gather information essential for the college and financial aid process. Search a college/university database of over 3700 institutions, travel to colleges via the virtual tour, access applications, and apply electronically. Financial aid and scholarship information, career information, and a college chat and message board system also help to make this a highly useful site.
Search 4 College.com: http://www.search4college.com -- This site, launched in 2001, is a good resource for students interested in very specific fields. Access databases for art, business, automotive training, massage, culinary, computer, graphic design schools, and many more. This "work-in-progress" site is easy to use, providing links to a number of institutions, contact information, and other links related to schools, careers, financing, and college preparation.
Hobsons Guide to Historically Black Colleges and Universities: http://www.collegeview.com/college/niche/hbcu -- This site provides a wealth of information and links for students regarding the 120 public and private, two and four-year, graduate and professional historically black colleges and universities. Peruse School as well as Student Profiles, Request Information, and explore Helpful Links in the search process.
Women’s College Coalition: http://www.womenscolleges.org/ -- The Women’s College Coalition is a membership organization representing 68 women’s colleges across the country and in Canada. Peruse this website for information about the benefits of attending a women’s college, to access ranking information, summer outreach programs, for direct links to each college, and much more!
LD Resources: http://www.ldresources.com/ -- This site provides a wealth of information for parents, students, counselors and other educators about learning disabilities. Topic areas include: Site Info, Articles, Resources, Discussion, Newsletter, and a Search component. This extensive resource is one of the very best!
CampusTours.com: http://www.campustours.com/ -- Save time in the beginning of the search process by "traveling" through this well-organized, easy-to-use site for virtual tours of campuses all over the country. This is a great way to preview a college prior to an actual visit. Students may request information from schools as well as link directly to college and university websites.
College Profiles: http://www.collegeprofiles.com/ -- This new site is exciting and full of terrific information! Students have access to a Directory of Colleges and Universities, College Profiles, Multicultural Student Profiles, an Honors Program Directory, a listing of Canadian Colleges and Universities, and lots more. The Collegiate Sports Programs and Coaches Directory, College Cheerleading Programs, and Orchestra and Bands Directory are unique highlights on this college search site.
RWM Vocational School Database: http://www.rwm.org/rwm -- This database of private postsecondary vocational schools is well-organized and extensive. Students can access information first by state and then by specific training area/occupation. Fields include: aircraft, automotive, cosmetology, business, computer, electronics, legal, telecommunications, and lots more. Check out this site to learn more about schools that offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, online degrees, and Technical and Management degrees. The Princeton Review: http://www.princetonreview.com -- Students are encouraged to visit this site to make use of the over 700 online college and university applications. This program allows students to complete a personal profile containing information that is common to many college and university applications; the information in the profile is then dropped into each application the student fills out through this program, saving students much time and energy. Also available at this site are links for test preparation including a full-length SAT practice test, the college search, rankings of the "Best 345 Colleges", tips regarding the admissions process, and much more.
Hillel: Guide to Jewish Life on Campus/Campus Contacts: http://www.hillel.org/hillel/Hillel_Schools_New.nsf/Schools?OpenForm -- This site of Hillel, the largest Jewish campus organization in the world, provides an opportunity for students to explore "comprehensive descriptions of Jewish life and contact information for Hillels on over 500 campuses in North America and around the world." Search by alphabet, region/country/state, or by college/university name.
The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU): http://www.ajcunet.edu/ -- The AJCU is a "national voluntary service organization" with membership of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. Students may utilize Jesuit College Search Service, access a listing of Jesuit institutions with direct links to the college/university homepages, and explore related links regarding Jesuit higher education.
