Fayetteville-Manlius is pleased to provide home access to student software programs and files. You have two choices: FM Home Access or Citrix. Mac, iPad or iPhone users can access our new FM Home Access by purchasing an app called iTap. This product is free for PC users. Citrix is still free for Macintosh, iPad and iPhone users.
The servers are backed up and monitored daily; hundreds of users access both products daily. If there is a problem, an alert will be provided on the login screen in red.
The F-M help desk is open from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. if you have any questions (692-1111). Select the REPORT A PROBLEM link and provide your phone number or email address.
Students in grades 5, 6 and 9 will attend a seminar the first two weeks of school on how to access FM Home Access and Citrix.
HOME ACCESS DOES NOT SAVE WORK FROM 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. FOR SECURITY REASONS.

FM Home Access LOG IN
1. Log in using the same username and password as in school. If your Internet Explorer prompts you to run an add-on. Select ALLOW. This will show on the bottom of your screen in yellow and white on Windows 7 and Vista and at the top in Windows XP. Select link for screen shot.
2. Click on the "Remote Desktop" icon once.
3. Click "Connect" if prompted by a security window. Select link for screen shot directions.
4. For security reason, you will be prompted to log in a second time. Type Oaktree\username. You have to select the backslash located over the enter key. Type your password as before. If you type oaktree/jdoe, you will not be able to log in. Select link for screen shot directions.
You can now move files from your home computer to your F-M account, print to your home printer or modify a document from any external device plugged into your computer.
