Notifications

Under the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, commonly referred to as Megan’s Law, law enforcement officials may notify the District when a dangerous person with a history of sex offenses is paroled or released into the community. The District will cooperate with local law enforcement agencies when information under this legislation is furnished.
