On this part of the site you will find homework assignments that are due each  week throughout the school year.  If you are out of school for any reason, check with me or a friend from class for daily assignments.  

Each night you are expected to read for 20 minutes (140 minutes weekly).  Make sure you record your reading time on your bookmark, and have a parent or guardian sign each Sunday night.

Every Thursday night you will have a "Wacky Headline" writer's notebook assignment.  Check with a friend for the exact headline, or, if you're feeling creative, make up your own headline.

The weeks we start a spelling unit, you can expect a 15 point spelling homework assignment on Monday night.  The 15 point assignment is for you to use each spelling word in a sentence.  Please underline the spelling word. 

On Wednesday night you can expect a 10 point assignment.  The 10 point assignment is more creative - use each word in a crossword puzzle, word search puzzle, hidden picture puzzle, or make up a secret code for each word.  Remember a word bank. 

Each spelling quiz will be on Friday, unless otherwise noted in class.

* All Spelling assignments must be done in cursive.
