Strive for 25

This year it is my goal for each and every one of you to read 25 books.  As we finish a book in class, or you finish a book on your own, make sure to fill out a Strive for 25 form (found in our classroom library).  After I look over your form, I'll give you a sticker to put on our classroom chart.  You'll have until June to finish as many books as you can!  We'll have a party at the end of the year to celebrate your success!

A few common questions, and answers:

Question: Will my book count for 2 books if it's really long?

Answer: Yes - if it's more than 500 pages.

Question:  Do magazines count?

Answer: Of course - Any 2 magazines will count for one book.

Question: Do picture books count?

Answer: Sure - Pick 10 picture books, and they will count for one sticker.
