The Fayetteville-Manlius School District excels in health education.  New York State requires that students receive a ½ credit of health education at the middle school level.  Here at Wellwood Middle School, our students receive health lessons at all grade levels.   Please click on the links at the left to learn about health for all grades.  Thank you for visiting Mrs. Musso's site!

New York State Health Education Standards

 

NYS Standard 1: Personal Health and Fitness

  • Students will have the necessary knowledge and skills to establish and maintain physical fitness, participate in  physical activity, and maintain personal health.

 

NYS Standard 2: A Safe and Healthy Environment

  • Students will acquire the knowledge and ability necessary to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

 

Standard 3: Resource Management

  • Students will understand and be able to manage their personal and community resources.
