Board of education to meet Monday, March 13

Update – 3:30 p.m. March 13: New York State Gov. Kathy Hochul today declared a State of Emergency for upstate New York, including Fayetteville and Manlius, in advance of a significant winter storm, which is expected to cause hazardous road conditions due to snow accumulation. The emergency goes into effect at 8 p.m. March 13.

As a safety precaution, the public portion of this evening’s Fayetteville-Manlius Board of Education meeting will conclude at approximately 7 p.m. In accordance with parliamentary procedure, certain agenda items may be tabled to accommodate meeting adjournment prior to the start of the state of emergency declaration. In all likelihood, any tabled agenda items will be placed on the March 27 meeting agenda.


Originally posted on March 8: The Fayetteville-Manlius School District Board of Education plans to meet 6 p.m. Monday, March 13, in the Eagle Hill Middle School auditorium.

Individuals who wish to speak during this evening’s public comment portion of the meeting are required to pre-register by 4 p.m. Monday, March 13.

Upon registration, each individual will receive a confirmation email. Please enter through the auditorium doors.

The meeting will livestream on the district’s official YouTube channel.
