Class of 2022 in-person graduation planned for June 17; ceremony to also be livestreamed

Fayetteville-Manlius High School Class of 2022 members will finally get their chance to cross the stage and turn their tassels when the school holds its 69th graduation ceremony on Friday, June 17.

There are 319 candidates for graduation, which will be held in the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College.

Traditionally, the senior with the highest grade point average is asked to speak during the ceremony. This year, that student is Andrew Ahn.

Other speakers will include Superintendent Craig J. Tice, Senior Class President Hannah Faigle and F-M High School Spanish language teacher Christine Monaco, who the students selected to speak.

The ceremony will be livestreamed on the district’s YouTube channel beginning at 5:45 p.m. with a slideshow of seniors and musical performances by senior choir members.
