A long-time member of the Fayetteville-Manlius School District teaching staff, Mary Anne Silvernail, died Wednesday, April 17, due to an illness.
Ms. Silvernail was an educator for 27 years, spending the past 17 years working at Fayetteville-Manlius High School, beginning in September 2001. She was a social studies teacher and department instructional specialist. She was previously advisor to National Honor Society and Key Club and spent the past five years as advisor to F-M High School’s Student Council, which has raised through its annual dance marathon event more than $1 million total for Camp Good Days and Special Times.
Our condolences are with Ms. Silvernail’s family, as well as her colleagues at F-M High School. The school’s counselors are available to meet with staff or students needing support.
