F-M High School’s student-run talent show takes the stage April 28 and 29

Approximately 150 Fayetteville-Manlius High School students will perform at this year’s student-run talent show, Showboat.

The show will take place in the high school auditorium 7 p.m. Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29.

Tickets are $10 and general admission. Tickets may be purchased at the door starting at 6:15 p.m. the night of each show. Please arrive early to get tickets and select seats.

Showboat includes a cappella, bands, a wide variety of dances, comedy, vocal duets, instrumental performances, step routines, and puppets. Students run the lights, audio, and backstage action.

Proceeds will be donated to the Fayetteville-Manlius A Better Chance House (ABC House). A Better Chance is a national non-profit organization that identifies and recruits academically talented and motivated students of color from disadvantaged school districts and places them in outstanding public, independent and private high schools across the United States, according to the program’s website.

Fayetteville-Manlius A Better Chance students live in a group home setting and attend F-M High School where they are enrolled in an advanced college prep curriculum.
