Iconic German band will perform at Eagle Hill on Sept. 12

A feast for the eyes and ears is coming to Eagle Hill Middle School on Sept. 12.

Dinkelsbühler Knabenkapelle – a 58-piece band from Germany that’s considered to be “the oldest boys’ band in German history” – will be performing at Eagle Hill beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The event is free and open to all local German students and their families.

Dinkelsbühler Knabenkapelle is currently on the final leg of its United States tour and is participating in the Sept. 15 German-American Steuben Parade in New York City. The band wears traditional white-and-red uniforms and includes musicians who are between 10 and 18 years of age.

Post-event refreshments will be provided by the Central New York German American Society.

Eagle Hill Middle School is located at 4645 Enders Road, Manlius.
