Below are school supply lists for each grade level at Mott Road Elementary School for the upcoming 2018-19 school year.

Label with your name:
- A backpack (no wheels, please)
- 1 art smock (dad or mom’s old shirt)
- 4×6 or 3×5 picture of self
- Earbuds (squishy kind to fit in ears)
Please do not label below items. These items will be placed in a community bin.
- 1 package of Crayola thick tip markers
- 12 Elmer’s glue sticks (.77 ounce)
- 4 boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count)
- 2 transparent, plastic envelopes (any color) approximately 9-3/4 x 13 inches (available at Wegmans, Target, Staples and Rite Aid).
- 2 durable two-pocket folders (any color) that are coated, heavy-weight paper (not plastic).
Grade 1
- Backpack to bring back and forth to school (no wheels, please)
- Oversized, short-sleeve t-shirt to use as an art smock (no buttons or ties)
- Basic earbuds for iPad. Please send in a plastic baggie labeled with child’s name. Practice using them at home.
- Solid color 1-inch, three-ring binder. We will need to insert a cover page, so be sure that the front has a clear, plastic sleeve.
- 2 transparent, plastic envelopes (any color) approximately 9 – 3/4 x 13 inches (available at Wegmans, Target and Rite Aid). Velcro closure is preferred, no zippers.
- 8 Elmer’s glue sticks (.77-ounce )
- 2 packs of Crayola crayons (24 count)
- 1 four-pack of thin dry erase markers (EXPO brand)
- 12 #2 Ticonderoga pencils sharpened (no fancy pencils)
- 2 packs of erasers – Magic Rub or Papermate brands
- 2 (12-packs) Crayola colored pencils
- 2 boxes of Crayola markers, 8 count
- 2 packs of white, unruled 3 x 5 index cards, 100 count
- A hard plastic pencil box approximately 8 x 5 inches. No small/zippered/fancy cases.
*Do not label or buy extra items. The items will be placed in a community bin. There may be other items required by individual teachers. The August placement letter will list any additional supplies that are needed.
Grade 2
- 1 plastic pencil box. It should be big enough to hold pencils, scissors, and glue, but small enough to fit inside of a desk.
- 1 pair of small scissors
- 1 box of crayons (24 pack)
- 1 yellow highlighter
- 1 box of markers (8 count)
- 1 box of colored pencils (12 count)
- Durable, two-pocket folder for taking work to and from school (any color/design)
- Backpack (no wheels, please)
- Oversized, short-sleeve t-shirt to use as an art smock (no buttons or ties)
- 2 two-pocket folders (no prongs) – one blue, one yellow
- Earbuds for iPad. Please send in a labeled plastic baggie (they can be purchased at the Dollar Store)
Please DO NOT label the following with your child’s name:
- 12 #2 pencils sharpened (no fancy pencils)
- 2 pink rectangular erasers
- 2 thin, black PaperMate flair pens
- 4 large glue sticks

Grade 3
- 20-pack three-hole clear sheet protectors
- 1″ 3-ring binder
- 24 count #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
- 2 large pink erasers
- 1 pencil case
- Glue sticks
- 1 box of 24-count crayons
- 1 box of 12-count colored pencils
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 art smock (an old t-shirt is best)
- 2 marbled composition books
- 1 box of gallon Ziploc bags
- 1 red, heavy-duty folder labeled “home folder”
- 4 folders labeled by color as follows:
- Green – Science
- Purple – Social Studies
- Blue – Math
- Yellow – Writing
There may be additional items required by individual teachers. The August placement letter will list any additional supplies needed.
Grade 4
- Art smock
- 2 composition notebooks
- #2 pencils (24 count) with erasers and sharpened
- 1 handheld pencil sharpener
- 2 large glue sticks
- Package of highlighters
- 5-10 thin, black flair pens
- Scissors
- 1 box of 24-count crayons – preferably Crayola
- 2 boxes of colored pencils – preferably Crayola brand
- 1 box of Crayola washable markers
- 2 packages of 3 x 3″ Post-It Notes (any color)
- 5 sturdy, plastic two-pocket folders: 1 red; 1 blue; 1 green; 1 yellow; 1 purple (please label with child’s name only in the lower corner)
