Barring any unforeseen circumstances, all Fayetteville-Manlius School District in-person and remote classes will not be in session on Friday, May 28, because the district has not used all of its allotted emergency closure days for the 2020-21 school year.
Staff will also not be required to work in-person or remotely on May 28.
The last day of classes for students in grades K-8 remains June 24, and the elementary and middle schools will each hold a half-day of classes June 22-24. With Regents exams scheduled for June 23 and 24 in both middle schools, Eagle Hill and Wellwood will provide remote instruction on both of these days.
The last day of regular classes for Fayetteville-Manlius High School students will be Monday, June 21. Students in grades 9-12 will then attend based on the Regents exam schedule.
