Families whose child(ren) will attend kindergarten in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District during the 2023-24 school year can now register for kindergarten screening.
Students who are currently enrolled in the district’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program will be screened in June during the school day and do not need to register.
Kindergarten screening is a way for the district’s elementary schools to gauge each child’s current functioning and growth. It provides the school with important information regarding each child’s current skill level, areas of strength and needs, and assists in planning interventions if necessary.
The results of kindergarten screening are used to create classes that are balanced and help the school prepare for incoming class’s needs.
Screenings for children who will attend kindergarten at Enders Road, Fayetteville and Mott Road elementary schools will be held at Mott Road Elementary School, 7173 Mott Road, Fayetteville, between 8:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- Monday, July 10
- Thursday, July 13
- Tuesday, July 18
- Wednesday, July 19
- Thursday, July 20
- Tuesday, July 25
- Wednesday, July 26
- Thursday, July 27
Families may register online using the links below to schedule a date and time to have their child(ren) screened. Screenings will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
