Reminder: F-M athletic events are closed to public

To protect the health and safety of students and staff, the number of spectators permitted at Fayetteville-Manlius School District’s athletic events remains limited.

Reducing spectator capacity helps ensure the district is adhering to local and state health guidelines that are designed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, according to F-M Director of Physical Education and Athletics Scott Sugar.

At this time, athletic contests are not open for general public viewing. Each F-M team member is entitled to two spectator tickets per game, and the same courtesy applies to visiting team members. All guests in attendance must wear a face covering and maintain six feet of distance from spectators, staff members and participants who are not part of their household or family unit.

All attendees must go through a health screening, which includes a temperature check, prior to event entry.

F-M community members will be notified when venue capacities increase.
