With winter weather finally here, the Fayetteville-Manlius School District Transportation Department is asking families of students who are remotely learning for a little help: Please make sure your driveways are accessible if it has snowed or place some type of container toward the end of your driveway where staff may leave instructional materials.
“We know families are not always able to clear their driveways for a variety of reasons—and we’re not asking them to do so—but a path to the door or placing some type of tote or bin toward the end of the driveway would greatly help us in efficiently making our deliveries on snowy days,” F-M Transportation Director John Cunningham said.
The transportation department delivers materials on Wednesdays, typically between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., to the homes of students who are receiving remote instruction only.
Please call the transportation department at 315-692-1218 if you have questions or concerns about the delivery of instructional materials.
