If you have a band instrument you’re looking to get rid of, you’re in luck! F-M community members and alumni who have band instruments they would like to sell, are invited to attend the Fayetteville-Manlius School District Music Department’s annual instrument sale on Saturday, May 17.
The sale is held for Wellwood and Eagle Hill middle school students who would like to purchase an instrument for school use.
Band instruments needed include flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, snare drum, xylophone and drum sets.
Anyone interested in selling an instrument should contact one of the district’s music teachers, as they must approve the make, model and condition of any used instrument to be sold. If you live on the Eagle Hill side of the district, contact Jon Rossi at jrossi@fmschools.org. If you reside on the Wellwood side, contact Erik Lutters at elutters@fmschools.org.
The sale will take place from 8:30-11 a.m. in the Wellwood Middle School cafeteria, located at 700 S. Manlius Street, Fayetteville.
A music store representative will also be available at the sale to assist anyone with questions about purchasing a new instrument.
