All students will borrow an 11-inch Acer Chromebook this school year. Please consider purchasing a sleeve or zipper cover to protect it.

Grade 5

All fifth-grade students will need:

  • Two 2-pocket folders (plastic/durable)
  • Two packs of #2 pencils
  • Two Ultra Fine Black Sharpies
  • Pilot Frixion Erasable Pens (blue or black)
  • Pencil pouch with the following inside:
    1. Highlighter
    2. Glue Sticks

Arena/Welling Team

  • Three 1-inch binders

Nash/Keeney/Millias Team

Physical Education

We are planning to be outside for physical education as often as possible, even in colder weather. Please make sure to prepare for the weather with appropriate athletic shoes, comfortable clothes to exercise in, coats, jackets, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, gloves. Prepare for weather by watching forecasts.

We will be outside unless deemed unsafe due to temperatures or storms. A reminder that there is no locker/ locker room access so coming to school ready for Physical Education will help.

Grade 5 Band

  • One expanding file folder with pockets large enough to fit 9” by 12” music books (a zippered folder is recommended).

Grade 6

It is not necessary to have all of the listed items on the first day.  Please bring the book that you are currently reading to class with you on the first day of school. 

All sixth-grade students will need:

  • Regular Lined paper – three-hole punched
  • Highlighters
  • Colored pencils
  • Pencils: Have two ready each day.
  • One durable homework folder – three-hole punched with two pockets

Manning/McIntosh Team

  • Two folders: green and blue
  • Two spiral notebooks: blue and red
  • One 1-inch binder
  • One 1-subject notebook
  • Two marble composition notebook (any color)
  • Scissors
  • Glue sticks

Socker/Kelly Team

  • Four durable folders, three-hole punched with two pockets: blue, yellow, green, red
  • One yellow marble composition notebook
  • Three spiral notebooks (70 or 100 sheets): blue, green, red

  • Sticky notes (small or medium size)
  • Highlighters: yellow, orange, green
  • Ruler with inches and centimeters
  • Two-three dry-erase markers: black, blue, green or red
  • One permanent marker: black, blue, green or red

Guidone/Vespi Team

  • One 1-inch, 3-ring binder
  • Four marble composition notebooks: green, black, red and blue
  • Two glue sticks

Family and Consumer Science

  • Two-pocket folder
  • Colored pencils and/or markers (can be used for other classes)

Textile materials – these do NOT need to be new:

  • Sewing needle
  • Straight pins with case or pin-cushion,
  • One spool all-purpose thread
  • 2-3 pieces 9 x 12-inch felt (can be different colors)
  • ½ yard cotton fabric
  • Small bag of stuffing (12 oz).

If there is an issue getting supplies, please reach out of Mrs. Six or Mrs. Sibert. Do not bring materials to school until asked to do so by your FACS teacher. Please email with any questions.

Foreign Language

  • French: One 1 or 1 ½ inch binder and one package of plastic tab dividers

  • Latin: Medium (2- to 3-subject) spiral notebook, folder with pockets
  • Spanish: 3-ring binder with dividers, loose leaf paper, colored pencils

Health

  • Algebra 1: TI – Inspire Graphing Calculator CX II (CAS version is also permitted)- please leave in packaging to be sure it is the correct calculator; ruler
