Fayetteville-Manlius High School students studying Spanish received national recognition for their performance on the 2025 National Spanish Examinations.
The National Spanish Exam is an online, standardized assessment competition to measure students’ listening, reading and grammar skills in Spanish and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
Students in grades 6-12 from across the country participated in seven different levels of the contest, from beginner (level 01) to advanced (level 6).
F-M High School students earned a total of 23 gold, 17 silver and 11 bronze medals along with 24 honorable mentions and 14 participation certificates.
Students were taught by Spanish teachers, Melanie Campitello, Stephanie Cimino, Eva Giacona, Pam Mitchell, and Athena Tzetzis.
