Academics

The Fayetteville-Manlius School District education philosophy provides a foundation of beliefs and principles upon which the staff conducts its work with the students of the district. We place an emphasis on academics balanced with special area disciplines, hold expectations that challenge the caliber of our student body, assure curriculum development, consistency, and articulation, provide preparation for higher education/employment, develop facility with the use of technology and maintain accountability.

Through these enduring beliefs and principles, our district strives to develop students who exhibit positive qualities and behaviors of good character, cooperation, and communication, personal wellness,  interpersonal skills, productive citizenship, leadership and a love of learning. All students are helped to develop to their fullest potential and to understand their heritage, uniqueness and the society and government in which they live.
