Power in numbers: F-M schools have strong showing in Math League competition

Eagle Hill and Wellwood Middle School students proudly represented Fayetteville-Manlius in this year’s Onondaga County Jr. High Math League competition.

Hosted by the Onondaga County Math Teachers, the annual league brings together middle school students from across the county to compete in five meets held throughout the school year. During each meet, students work individually to solve challenging math problems that test their skills in logic, problem-solving and critical thinking. Points are awarded for correct answers, and team and individual scores are tracked throughout the season.
