F-M High School students earn more than 100 AP Scholar-level distinctions

The College Board recently recognized high school students across the country who have shown outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on Advanced Placement (AP) Exams during the 2020-21 school year.

In 2021, Fayetteville-Manlius School District students earned a total of 142 AP Scholar-level distinctions.  

AP Scholar Award

The College Board grants AP Scholar awards to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

AP Scholar with Honor Award

The College Board grants AP Scholar with Honor awards to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. 

Thirty-seven F-M students received this award, including Rishi Aeleti, Maya Ali, Gracie Bishop, Sarah Brien, Maia Chakin, Joyce Chen, Anay Dalal, James Dziergas, Edward Elliott, Sara Elzourkany, Tochi Ezidiegwu, Lucas Gascon, Hanabi Geiger, Luke Hasenwinkel, Troy He, Danielle Johns, Serena Khalifeh, Owen Kimbrough, Jennifer Krueger, Madelyn Krueger, Megan Leonard, Andrew Li, Joshua Lim, Margaret Lorraine, Aleksandra Marcinkowski, Katya Noble, John OuYang, Joshua Ovadia, James Perkovich, Mae Ruddy, Alexis Smith, Kathryn Smith, Joseph Stewart, Brynn Taylor, Lucas Weires, Erica Westpfal and Cameron Worden.

The College Board grants AP Scholar with Distinction awards to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
