The Fayetteville-Manlius Symphony Orchestra string players are celebrating a
major accomplishment. The group was accepted to perform at the annual New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference in December. F-M’s orchestra was one of two from throughout all of NYS chosen to perform.
Each spring, NYSSMA puts out a call for performing groups to submit recordings of their performances to vie for an opportunity to perform at the conference. The group will be performing the same program at the F-M High School December Concert in the HS auditorium at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
