Due to the forecasted heat wave early next week, the Fayetteville-Manlius School District will follow a half-day schedule and dismiss early on:
- Monday, June 23, 2025
- Tuesday, June 24, 2025
The middle schools will dismiss at 10:40 a.m. Universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) and the elementary schools will dismiss at 11:35 a.m.
Lunch will not be provided to students on these early release days, but breakfast will be available as usual.
Regents and final exams at the middle schools and high school will take place as scheduled. At Eagle Hill and Wellwood, late buses will be available for students who need more time to take exams. All students at the high school and both middle schools will be taking exams in air conditioned spaces.
District staff will work full days. Once students leave, all staff will be provided air conditioned spaces to work in. After school activities that are scheduled in the evenings in air conditioned spaces will occur as previously scheduled.
Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26 will be half-days for grades UPK-8 as previously scheduled.
