The search is underway for the Fayetteville-Manlius School District’s next Superintendent of Schools. This fall, the F-M Board of Education is planning to conduct candidate interviews.
District Superintendent of Onondaga, Cortland, Madison (OCM) BOCES Dr. Matt Cook, who is serving as a consultant to assist the board in its selection process of a new school superintendent, conducted a preliminary screening of applicants this summer. Board members, alongside Dr. Cook, are reviewing applications and will be selecting candidates to participate in first-round interviews.
To help inform the board’s decision-making process, the board is using feedback from the survey conducted this past spring, and focus groups held in June to ensure the most qualified candidate is chosen to lead the F-M school community.
The board plans to appoint a new superintendent during the 2025-26 school year, with the goal of that individual beginning in spring 2026.
