College planning expert Peter Van Buskirk will return to Fayetteville-Manlius High School again this year to help demystify the college admission process for parents and students.
Mr. Van Buskirk will present his interactive case study, “The Admissions Game” 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 in F-M High School’s auditorium. Members of F-M’s junior class and their parents are encouraged to attend the presentation.
The program is a high-energy workshop that transforms the audience into an admission committee, revealing the “hidden agendas” of colleges and providing insight into admission decisions. Mr. Van Buskirk speaks in relevant terms and engages the audience in conversation throughout the program, according to his website.
Mr. Van Buskirk is the author of the bestselling case study, “Winning the College Admission Game.” His expertise is often cited in the national media and his articles on the college-admission process have appeared in numerous professional journals.
