Construction kicks into high gear at all F-M schools this summer

Next week, construction crews will begin setting up equipment and materials outside of Eagle Hill and Wellwood middle schools in preparation for partial roof replacements taking place this summer.

The work to address critical aging infrastructure needs at both middle schools is part of the $15.4 million capital project approved by voters in May 2024.

The project also includes:

  • Safety and security upgrades across all school district buildings
  • Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) control upgrades at Fayetteville Elementary School, F-M High School, Support Services Maintenance Building, Transportation Center and Conference Center
  • Partial roof replacement at F-M High School
  • Partial roof replacement at the F-M District Office – Complete

Most of the work will take place during the summer months and access to all school buildings will be limited.

The project is expected to be substantially complete by September 2025.
