For 17 years, Bousquet Holstein has sponsored the contest to support local students in the arts. Each year, the firm announces a new theme that challenges young photographers to explore their surroundings in creative ways. The 2025 theme was “Activated Communities: The Pulse of Our Spaces.” Students were asked to capture the energy and movement that people bring to public spaces.
Entries were judged on composition, imagination, creativity, and connection to the theme. The top three awards were accompanied by scholarships. Morgan Kelder’s first place award also secured $500 for the district’s art/photography program. Her photograph will also appear on the cover of Bousquet Holstein’s annual Thanksgiving card, which is mailed to more than 7,000 clients and colleagues.
