Regents Exam Information
These high school standardized exams, specific to New York state, are offered in the core subject areas of social studies, science, math, ELA and foreign language. Students must meet the state’s Regents requirements in order to graduate, with some exceptions for students with disabilities. Students who choose to complete Regents exams beyond what is required may also receive a diploma with honor or an advanced designation.
Advanced Placement exam information
The Advanced Placement (AP) exams will require students to complete a two-step registration and ordering process. Students will order their AP exams in the fall through the College Board. Our AP teachers will provide each student with a “join code” and will assist students in completing this process during the first week of classes. Students will use the “join codes” online via their College Board accounts to enroll in each of their AP class sections and to order their exams.
Students will indicate their exam decision for each of their AP courses in which they enroll in College Board/My AP. Once enrolled, students will see an order exam status of Undecided until they indicate their exam registration. It is important for students to accurately indicate their exam order status to ensure an accurate exam order, because student registration and enrollment in College Board/My AP will no longer default to order an exam for students. Please be sure to check the important deadlines listed below.
AP Exam Registration and Payment
Students will continue to use Total Registration to submit payment for their exams. A link to Total Registration will be available on the F-M High School webpage and in Schoology.
Please contact High School Assistant Principal Lis Benavides if you have any questions.
