Join us for Parent Council Oct. 1 to discuss F-M’s facilities

Fayetteville-Manlius School District parents, guardians and caregivers are invited to attend the first Parent Council meeting of the school year on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Parent Council meetings serve as community focus groups in which attendees are asked to share their opinions on predetermined topics. The Oct. 1 meeting will focus on providing a facilities update.

The meeting will take place at 9 a.m. in the large conference room at the F-M District Office located at 8199 E Seneca Turnpike, Manlius and will also be available virtually via Zoom.

What is Parent Council?

Parent Council is an open forum where F-M parents, guardians and caregivers informally meet with the superintendent and other district staff to discuss topics relevant to our students.

The meetings provide an opportunity to to learn about F-M programs and initiatives and become better-informed about what’s happening throughout the school district.

The group meets in a casual, informative and friendly setting. There are no required committees to join or projects to complete, other than sharing information to promote two-way communication between home and school.

Parent Council meets six times throughout the 2025-26 school year.
