S.A.F.E. Club to host Seasonal Depression Fair on Monday, Dec. 11

The Fayetteville-Manlius High School Suicide Awareness for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) Club is hosting a Seasonal Depression Fair on Monday, Dec. 11. The event will run from 7-8:30 p.m. in the high school library.

The Seasonal Depression Fair is open to any member of the F-M school community and will feature several community organizations. Contact Community Services, CNY Mental Health Counseling, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Safe Space Community Healing Center will all be present to share resources, strategies, and education concerning seasonal depression.

F-M’s S.A.F.E. Club aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention and end the stigma associated with mental health. Students work with staff to promote a safe and informative environment, and emphasize that all students matter. The club works throughout the year to plan events, such as the Seasonal Depression Fair, and fundraise for various organizations.
