Three Fayetteville-Manlius High School students received prestigious awards through the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards National Competition.
The school district recently highlighted 145 students who received Scholastic Art Awards at the regional level. These three national award winners received certificates and medals and are considered for national exhibition, publication and scholarship opportunities:
- Senior Hari Yoganathan received a Gold Medal in the Film and AnimationCcategory and a Best-in-Grade Award, which is a scholarship for the best 12th grade artwork in the country, for “The Eye Beyond Time.” This was the first time an F-M student received this honor.
- Sophomore Chris Jang won a Gold Medal in the Photography Category for “숨쉬어도 돼? Can I breathe?”
- Senior Rowan Rudnick won a Silver Medal in the Photography Category for “The Weight of the Years.”
