16 F-M High School students have become the newest members of the Delta Epsilon Phi German National Honor Society, New York Beta Alpha Chapter. The honor society celebrates student academic achievement in German and promotes the study of the language, literature, and culture of German speaking countries.

To become a member of the National German Honor Society, students must have taken 3 or more years of German, have a minimum average of 90% in German in their high school career, have an overall minimum average of 80%, and participate in at least four extra-curricular German activities during junior and senior year.
