  • German language greatness: F-M HS students secure several scholarships, awards

    Fayetteville-Manlius High School senior Hiro Havey is among eight students nationwide to win a National German Honor Society Post-Graduate Scholarship this year. The American Association of Teachers for German awards cash prizes to students studying German and who intend to continue using the German language after graduation.   • F-M students excel on National Latin Exam

    More than 80 Fayetteville-Manlius students studying Latin received awards on the National Latin Exam in 2025, including one who earned a perfect score.   • F-M High School students inducted into National Technical Honor Society

    Nine Fayetteville-Manlius High School students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for their outstanding achievements in OCM BOCES’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) and New Vision programs.   • FMHS student awarded scholarship to study in Germany this summer

    Out of 15,000 applicants, FMHS junior Hudson Brenner was one of 37 students nationwide to be awarded a scholarship to spend three weeks in Germany this summer. “I am most excited to be able to compare Germany’s school system to ours, as I will be attending school as essentially an exchange student for two weeks,”


  • FMHS students’ photo essay published in New York Times

    A photo essay created by two FMHS students is gaining national notoriety. The essay, completed by Maria “Elis” Lorga Novack and Marcus Albuquerque was recently published in the New York Times!   • FMHS Jazz Ensemble earns top honors at Regional Jazz Festival

    The high school Jazz Ensemble hit all the right notes at this year’s Fonda-Fultonville Jazz Festival, earning top honors and impressing both judges and audiences.   • F-M students raise more than $140,000 for Camp Good Days

    Fayetteville-Manlius High School students wrapped up their annual Dance Marathon fundraiser over the weekend, raising a total of $145,021.39 for Camp Good Days and Special Times. Each fall, a new group of MCs (masters of ceremonies) is chosen from the senior class. Those students are charged with raising awareness and money for Camp Good Days.
