Communications Office

The goal of the F-M Communications Office is to be the first and best source of district information and to provide avenues of communication between the district and its students, staff and residents.

Community members have asked for open and clear channels of communication with the district, and as district leaders face increasingly difficult fiscal decisions, keeping the community informed of what’s happening within its schools is even more critical.

The Communications Office manages the district website and district social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter), produces news articles and press releases, coordinates media coverage of school events and news and designs and develops content for a variety of district publications throughout the year.

F-M News is the community newsletter of the Fayetteville-Manlius School District. It is delivered to every household in the district approximately four times each year. For a printed copy of a past newsletter, please contact the F-M District Office at 315-692-1234.

If you have a story idea, would like to request coverage of a school event or would like to submit photos to be posted on the district website, please refer to the story idea link available under “More Information” or contact communications@fmschools.org. Information for a story or press release can also be mailed to: F-M Communications Office, 8199 E. Seneca Turnpike, Manlius, NY 13104.
