Eagle Hill breaks school ticket record with The Lion King Jr.

Students perform The Lion King Jr. on stage in costume.

Eagle Hill Middle School Drama Club proudly presented The Lion King Jr. over three days in November after two and a half months of rehearsals. All that hard work paid off, this year’s production broke the all-time school record with 1,707 tickets sold!

The show was brought to life by 89 talented student performers from grades 5-8. They were supported by staff and 12 high school crew members.

Students had a special audience on Saturday, Nov. 15. The Eagle Hill Site-Based Team invited seniors from the Fayetteville Senior Center and the Towne Center Retirement Community to one of the shows. They were given gift bags filled with goodies and games to bring home.

“They were thrilled to attend, and we look forward to continuing this partnership with our senior community members. We also plan for our music groups to visit several senior centers in the coming months to perform for residents in their own communities. We strongly believe in building and strengthening our school’s connection with our senior community,” shared Eagle Hill Middle School Principal Karen Liparulo.
