F-M High School holds 66th annual commencement ceremony

On June 21, members of Fayetteville-Manlius School District’s Class of 2019 gathered together once more as high school students.

Fayetteville-Manlius High School held its 66th annual graduation ceremony Friday evening at the SRC Arena on the Onondaga Community College campus.

Traditionally, the senior with the highest grade point average is asked to speak during the ceremony. This year, that student was Patrick Mark Barrett.

During his speech Patrick discussed the importance of self-reflection, finding joy and working hard.

Other speakers included F-M Superintendent Craig Tice, F-M High School Principal Ray Kilmer, Senior Class President Elizabeth Rumely Brady and F-M High School English teacher Benjamin Clardy, who the students selected to speak.
