F-M Closet Thrift Shop now accepting prom attire donations

F-M High School will be opening up its F-M Closet once again this spring, as a thrift shop focused on prom and ball attire. The effort is being led by Mrs. Angelastro and the F.A.M.E. Club.

Right now, the club is collecting prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, suits, tuxedos, ties and bowties, jewelry, and shoes.

The club focuses heavily on eco-friendly fashion design and would like to emphasize repurposing and reusing garments that typically would only be worn once,” explained Angelastro.

Once the thrift shop opens in April, students will be able to browse the selection and take what they need.

Community members who’d like to donate should contact Mrs. Angelastro via email to schedule a pick up or drop off. If teachers, staff, or students have anything to donate, they can bring items directly to the library.
