Educating students in the Fayetteville-Manlius community is a responsibility we take seriously. Collaborating with parents and guardians has always been a huge part of our success, and we know that the community desires to be connected and informed about what’s happening across our district and in our schools. Below are several communication tools we hope you will find helpful as we work together to fulfill the district’s vision of inspiring students and promoting personal success.
District Website
The F-M website is updated several times each week with information about district and building level activities, programs and announcements, including photos and videos. In addition to the district homepage, each school has its own web pages with school-specific information.
View our Website Accessibility Statement.
School Apps
ParentSquare

ParentSquare allows the district and each of its schools to send messages via telephone, text, and email to notify parents, community members and staff of upcoming school events, emergency situations, closings and delays, etc. Login to ParentSquare.
Community Group on ParentSquare
The Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District Community Group on ParentSquare allows guests, such as members of the community who do not have students active in the district, students and substitutes to receive district-level messages, including emergency closures and delays. Current staff and parents/guardians do not need to register for the ParentSquare community group. Learn about accessing the Community Group on ParentSquare.
Schoology

Schoology allows parents, guardians and students to better collaborate, engage and stay in touch online with what’s happening in the classroom.
Teachers post on their Schoology pages class assignments, announcements and other resources. Principals share building-level information and resources that are targeted to parents/guardians rather than the general public. Login to Schoology.
Flyer Distribution via Schoology
The Fayetteville-Manlius School District cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for district families. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and maintain fiscal responsibility, the district posts flyers digitally via Schoology. Paper flyers from outside organizations are not distributed within the schools. View community flyer submission guidelines and specifications.
SchoolTool

The district’s parent portal, SchoolTool, is a password protected secure website that offers parents and students online access to personalized information about a student’s academic program and progress.
Student report cards, interim reports and academic schedules for students in grades 6-12 are posted. Login to SchoolTool.
Infofinder Bus Info

Fayetteville-Manlius uses Infofinder, an online personalized bus stop information system. Users enter their address, and the website produces a Google map locating the address and the nearest bus stop. The website will also provide the bus number and when it is scheduled to arrive. Login to Infofinder.
PickUp Patrol

Fayetteville-Manlius elementary schools uses a web-based system called PickUp Patrol to manage student dismissal, and for parents/guardians to communicate changes to their student’s regular dismissal plans. Login to Pickup Patrol.

Parent/Guardian Groups
Get Involved!
The F-M School District has a variety of opportunities for parents/guardians to participate at both the district and building levels.
Parent Council
Parent Council is an open forum for parents in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District to informally meet with the superintendent and other district staff to discuss topics relevant to our students. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about F-M programs and initiatives and to meet our superintendent, as well as school personnel involved in the management and decision making in our schools.
Parent Council meets in a casual, informative and parent-friendly setting. There are no required committees to join or projects to complete, other than sharing information to promote two-way communication between home and school.
Parent Council will meet six times throughout the 2024-2025 school year. Six meetings will serve as community focus groups in which attendees will be asked to share their opinions. This year’s topics include school facilities, special education, strategic planning, special services and UPK, the academic program and the school budget.
Questions? Call (315) 692-1200.
