Spanish students excel on National Spanish Exam

Congratulations to the Fayetteville-Manlius High School Spanish students who attained national recognition for their performance on the 2025-26 National Spanish Examinations.

Many students participated in this national competition. A total of 14 Gold, 15 Silver and 15 Bronze medals were earned along with 39 Honorable Mentions.

Students were taught by Spanish teachers, Melanie Campitello, Stephanie Cimino, Chrissie Monaco, Eva Giacona, Pam Mitchell, and Athena Tzetzis.

The National Spanish Examinations are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.  Each level’s exam consists of an online test of student’s listening, reading and grammar skills in Spanish.
