Students earn top honors on National Spanish Exam

Twenty-four Fayetteville-Manlius School District students recently achieved top honors for their performance on the 2021 National Spanish Exam.

The exam is organized by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portugese (AATSP) and measures a student’s ability to read, write and communicate with cultural competence. Exam results provide teachers with a means of comparing students in all regions of the country, as well as programmatic data that helps inform curricular decisions.  

Students who earned Gold Medal Placement (95th percentile or higher), Silver Medal Placement (85th – 94th percentile) or Bronze Medal Placement (75th – 84th percentile), as well as Honorable Mentions, are listed below.
