Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures

Arrival and Dismissal

From 7:45–8:05 a.m. and 2:45–2:55 p.m., students should be dropped off and picked up at the Main Entrance on the Fayetteville Elementary side of the building.
The bus loop is closed to all private vehicle traffic at all times.

During the School Day

Between 8:05 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., all students arriving late or being picked up early must use the Main Entrance on the Fayetteville Elementary side of the building.

Traffic Flow for Drop-Off and Pick-Up

• Form a single line as you enter the parking lot.
• Turn right upon entering the lot and follow the driveway to the designated drop-off/pick-up area.
• Students should enter and exit vehicles on the passenger side only.
• Please have your child wait on the sidewalk until your vehicle reaches the designated loading area.
• Once your child has entered or exited the vehicle, carefully merge out of the line and continue toward the playground.
• Make a right turn onto the fire lane.
• Turn right into the Franklin Street parking lot, proceed through the lot, and exit onto Franklin Street.
• Use extra caution for pedestrians while driving through the Franklin Street parking lot.
• To help keep traffic moving efficiently, students should be ready to enter or exit vehicles promptly.
• Prolonged loading or unloading is not permitted.

Please Do Not:

• Allow children to cross the parking lot.
• Park in the Main Parking Lot or the Franklin Street Parking Lot during drop-off or pick-up.
• Park along Franklin Street.
• Drive against the designated traffic flow.
• Leave your vehicle unattended.
• If you need to enter the building, please park in a designated parking space.
