Middle school students earn awards on National German Exam

The results are in and several Fayetteville-Manlius School District middle school students earned medals and honorable mention certificates on the Level 1 2019 National German Exam.

The American Association of Teachers of German sponsors the exam, which has four levels. Levels 2-4 are administered in winter, and Level 1 is given in the spring. The Level 1 exam included 5,727 students from across the country. It provides a means of comparing students across the country and provides individual and programmatic diagnostic feedback, according to the exam website.
