2019-20 Budget

In May 2018, Fayetteville-Manlius School District residents voted on a proposed $85.9 million operating budget for the 2019-20 school year. The approved budget maintained student programming and enhanced security districtwide in the following areas: facility access and security; emergency communications/school information and resource officers; training; and mental health.

Because New York closed school buildings statewide for the last three months of the 2019-20 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, district officials identified nearly $2.97 million in budgeted funds that were not expended. It is anticipated that this surplus will help offset deficits in the 2020-21 school year and beyond due to state aid reductions.
