Meal Pricing 2026-27
We are pleased to inform you that the Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District will be offering meals at no cost to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2026-2027 school year.
All students enrolled at Fayetteville-Manlius schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2026-2027 school year. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submitting an application.
Elementary schools
- One breakfast: $0.00 (milk or juice included)
- One lunch: $0.00 (milk or juice included)
- Additional breakfast: $2.00
- Additional lunch: $3.50
- Milk: $0.75
Middle schools
- One breakfast: $0.00 (milk or juice included)
- One lunch: $0.00 (milk or juice included)

Additional meals and a la carte items such as chips, drinks or ice cream, will still be available for purchase in all F-M school cafeterias.
Students must have adequate funds in their MySchoolBucks account to purchase additional meals, a la carte items and snacks.

Please be advised: effective July 31, 2026, the fee for cafeteria credit and debit card payments will increase to $3.75.
Payment via cash or check can be given to the district without a fee.

Free and reduced-price meal information
The Fayetteville-Manlius School District offers free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program. The federally assisted program allows eligible students to receive free or reduced-price school meals, and requires a formal application process.
Children from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Free and reduced-price meal applications can be downloaded below.

About Food Services
The F-M School District believes that one of the most important ways in which we can help our children perform better in their classrooms, is to provide them with the nutrition necessary for the healthy growth of their minds and bodies.
We offer breakfast and/or lunch in our schools every day. We invite all students to show their support for their school food service program through frequent participation. Our school meal program is entirely self-supported through cafeteria sales.

Meal Charging & Prohibition against Meal Shaming Policy
The Fayetteville-Manlius School District aims to ensure all students have access to nutritious meals without experiencing stigma due to unpaid meal charges. To achieve this, the district has implemented a policy that prohibits practices such as publicly identifying students with meal debt, requiring them to perform chores to pay for meals, or discarding served meals due to inability to pay. Charging of items outside of the reimbursable meals (a la carte items, adult meals, snacks, etc.) is expressly prohibited. The policy also outlines procedures for staff training, parent notification, and outreach to assist families in applying for free or reduced-price meals, aiming to address unpaid meal charges without causing distress or embarrassment to students.
