Student Registration

The Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District is committed to creating a collaborative learning environment where all members feel included, respected, valued, and connected by affirming individual identities, fostering relationships, and recognizing diversity as an asset for teaching and learning.

Notes

If you need assistance scanning supporting documents with your mobile device, please download an application to assist you.

All registrations are subject to residency verification.

The district has strict guidelines for class size. Because of this, there may be times when a particular school will be unable to accommodate your child when the school is at capacity. In this case, the district will provide transportation to another school within the district.

You will be contacted by the main office of your student’s school to arrange for a building tour. Students enrolling in middle school or high school may call the school building to set up a counseling appointment to design a class schedule.

Bussing will be automatically set up for your student(s). Bus times and numbers can be found on the Transportation Department page of our website. If your student will need transportation to and from a licensed daycare within the district or an unlicensed daycare provider within your school’s attendance zone please complete the form found on the Transportation Department webpage.

Information about our school breakfast and lunch program, including an application for free/reduced meals, our home-school association (like a parent-teacher organization) and log-ins to our student information systems will follow after your registration is complete.

This meets state reporting requirements and informs the transportation department in the child’s home district to be aware of potential busing needs. Families need only submit the registration form for homeschool, private school and CPSE students, located under the “Helpful Links” section on this page, and one proof of residency from the list above and proof of age.

Homeschooling your student(s)

In accordance with New York State law, the district requests that families who wish to homeschool their student(s) submit the registration form for homeschool, private school and CPSE students, located under the “Helpful Links” section on this page, proof of age and one proof of residency from the list above. Please contact the Office of Curriculum and Instruction for more information on homeschooling at (315) 692-1202.

Preschool students eligible for special services

The district requires that families of preschool age students who are eligible for special services submit the registration form for homeschool, private school and CPSE students, located under the “Helpful Links” section on this page, proof of age and one proof of residency from the list above. Please contact the Special Services Department for more information at (315) 692-1208.
